Welcome to Transition Town Totnes

Transition Town Totnes (TTT) is a dynamic, community-led charity that is strengthening the local economy, reducing the cost of  living and preparing for a future with less oil and a changing climate.

TTT is community-led. It is not a 'membership' organisation, but a collection of mainly volunteers, who come together to work on projects under the umbrella of Transition, in order to highlight the context in which they are working. Anyone can be involved. Everyone is needed. People involved are wide-ranging in backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Our projects and groups are ever-changing and evolving, and welcome new people getting involved and helping.

Various theme groups and projects are underway, but there is always so much more to be done. If you see something missing, you can always start up your own, particularly if the Transition banner helps to contextualises the project within the global framework of climate change and resource depletion, which is our focus.
